ABOUT FEMME FATALES – THE MAGAZINE

Founded in 1987 by Frederick S. Clarke, the publisher of Cinefantastique, Femme Fatales began being published primarily devoted to classic “scream queens” of the era.  After Clarke’s untimely passing, the magazine was acquired by Mark Gottwald’s CFQ Media which re-focused the magazine on “the sexy sirens of film, television, music and the web” under the creative aegis of former Hollywood Reporter editor David E. Williams and creative director Edwin Alpanian.

And in 2011, the magazine was turned into a hit television series, evoking the spirit of classic film noir and pulp fiction for Cinemax where it continues to air, having recently completed its second season.
